Our Ov16 ELISA / O150 PCR supply calculator offers an overall estimate for supply procurement and cost associated with testing DBS (dried blood spots) in the Ov16 ELISA and testing black fly pools in the O150 PCR-ELISA. This calculator is based on cost provided by the product manufacturer.
The Center for Onchocerciasis Diagnostics works in collaboration with several support organization to provide these much-needed supplies to the participating laboratories.

Once the Excel file is open, simply enter the number of DBS to be tested using the Ov16 ELISA within the first line-item quantity and click anywhere in the document to update the total number of supplies required for that number of DBS. Or enter the total number of fly pools to be tested in the first line-item quantity for the O150 PCR to generate the total number of supplies required for the set quantity of fly pools (100 black flies per pool).
